The District
Selection Committee, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong invites online applications from genuine citizens of
India for the posts of Stenographer-III, Lower Division Assistant Cum
Typist, Gram Sevak/Sevika, Stenographer, Driver, Enumerator, Forest Guard, and
Grade-IV.
1. Post Name:
Stenographer-III
No of posts: 5 [UR:4, KJ&G:1]
Salary: Pay level-8 (As per Revised pay
structure).
Essential Qualification: Class XII
passed/graduated with a Certificate in Stenography & Certificate in
Computer application. (Class XII passed: 2 Posts and Graduate: 3 Posts).
2. Post Name: Lower Division Assistant Cum Typist
No of posts: 220 [UR:30, KJ&G:186, OST/SC:4]
Salary: Pay level-5 (As per Revised pay
structure).
Essential Qualification: Matriculation/SSLC
passed with Certificate in Computer application, with a minimum speed of 30
w.p.m (to be ascertained in the technical speed test).
3. Post Name: Gram Sevak/Sevika
No of posts: Total 45 # Gram Sevak (Both Male
& Female): 39 [UR:6, KJ&G:31, OST/SC:2] # Gram Sevika (Only Female): 6
[UR:1, KJ&G:5, OST/SC:0]
Salary: Pay level-5 (As per Revised pay
structure).
Essential Qualification: Matriculation/ SSLC
passed. Every person appointed to the post will undergo the training for Gram
Sevaks/ Gram Sevikas.
4. Post Name: Stenographer
No of posts: 3 [UR:1, KJ&G:2]
Salary: Pay level-4 (As per Revised pay
structure).
Essential Qualification: Class XII/ HSSLC
passed with a Certificate in Short Hand and Computer Application.
5. Post Name: Driver
No of posts: 61 [UR:11, KJ&G:50]
Salary: Pay level 3 (As per Revised pay
structure).
Essential Qualification: Class VIII passed
with a valid Professional Driving License from the concerned District Transport
Officer. A driving Test along with a Medical Eye Check Up Test will also be
conducted before the selection of the successful candidates.
6. Post Name: Enumerator
No of posts: 13 [UR:2, KJ&G:11]
Salary: Pay level-2 (As per Revised pay
structure).
Essential Qualification: Matriculation/ SSLC
passed.
7. Post Name: Forest Guard
No of posts: 59 [UR:8, KJ&G:49, OST/SC:2]
Salary: Pay level-2 (As per Revised pay
structure).
Essential Qualification: SSLC passed and above or
equivalent examination from recognized boards.
Candidates must have possessed the minimum
physical standard/ fitness as prescribed below:-
(a) Height: MALE 163 cms and FEMALE 150
cms.
(b) Chest: MALE 79 cms (Normal) and +05
cms on expanded. FEMALE 74 cms (Normal) and +05 cms on expanded.
(c) Minimum height for candidates
belonging to SC/ST MALE is 152 cms and FEMALE 145 cms.
Candidates must have qualified for a Physical
Test consisting of a walk of 25 Km for MALE candidates and 16 Km for FEMALE
candidates to be completed within 4 hours.
8. Post
Name: Grade-IV
No of posts: 417 [UR:76, KJ&G:333, OST/SC:8]
Salary: Pay level-1 (As per Revised pay
structure). Essential Qualification: Class VI passed
Age limit
18- 32 years as on 01.01.2024. The upper age limit
is relaxable by 5 years over the upper age limit of 32 years in the case of
SC/ST candidates.
How to apply for DSC East Khasi Hills Recruitment 2024?
Candidates are required to register themselves
with the District Selection Committee (DSC) through the website https://eastkhasihills.gov.in using a
valid email ID. The email ID will also be used for further correspondence by
the office if required.
The District Selection Committee will not
accept any application submitted by hard copy.
The last date for submission of the application
is 10.09.2024 (last date extension).
Those candidates, who have already registered
earlier, may log in directly to the website, and apply for the post(s).
A unique application code will be generated for
each of the posts applied. This application code shall be used for all future
correspondence with the office, and more importantly, it is to be provided at
the time of Online Payment using SBI Collect.
The candidate has to upload a recent colored
passport-size photograph in JPG format, along with the signature below. The
digital size of each file must be less than 50Kb. Candidate must appear for the
Written Test/ Interview at his/her own expense.
Selected candidates must be willing to serve in
any place of posting within or outside the State of Meghalaya in the interest
of the Government of Meghalaya.
