The Meghalaya Basin Management Agency (MBMA) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 1100 no’s (approx) Village Data Volunteers. The minimum required qualification is a Class XII pass. Eligible candidates may apply online. The last date is January 24, 2024.

Essential Qualification:-

• i) The minimum educational qualification for VDVs is Class XII passed.
• ii) Candidates who possess a basic level of education and functional literacy to carry out data collection tasks effectively would be preferred

 

Language Preferred:- Khasi, Garo & Jaintia

Skills Required:

• i) Good Communication in both written and verbal
• ii) Proficiency in using mobile applications, and digital tools, and usage of smart devices like smartphones and tablets.

Requirement

1.      The work entails extensive traveling.

2.      Profiling of all the villages in their cluster.

3.      Comprehensive household data collection

4.      Census listing, collecting data for family –id and subsequent updates to it.

5.      Collecting Village level data required for monitoring of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

6.      Any other activity required by the Government of Meghalaya.

7.      A VDV is expected to quickly carry out the tasks assigned without compromising on quality.

8.      He/She is expected to get the data synchronized so that the central server/ data repository might be updated.
